POST-OPERATIVE REHABILITATION

Post-surgical physical therapy helps reestablish joint motion, muscle strength around the joint and joint function. This includes surgeries such as rotator cuff repairs, spinal surgeries, knee replacements, shoulder replacements and along with many others.

SPORTS THERAPY

Physical therapy utilizes exercise and sports principles to optimize performance, preparation and injury prevention. Sports therapy can range from overuse injuries to return to sport following a concussion. It is our goal to get you back on the field or court both quickly and safely.

FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY EVALUATIONS

An FCE is a series of tests, conducted by a certified physical therapist, to test physical work capabilities. It is designed to objectively test a worker’s abilities by testing physical strength, range of motion, and stamina tolerance to lifting and carrying.

NEUROLOGICAL INJURIES

​Neurological physical therapy treats people with disorders of the brain, spinal cord and nerves. This includes conditions such as brain injuries, concussions, strokes, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, balance and vestibular conditions.

FUNCTIONAL DRY NEEDLING

Functional Dry Needling is a technique used to treat myofascial pain. The technique targets tissues that produce pain and contain trigger points using a small-thin needle that is inserted through the skin into areas of the muscle.

KINESIO TAPING

Kinesio tape is used by physical therapist to manage circulatory/lymphatic, neural, muscular, and fascial systems, as well as the joints. Kinesio Taping is utilized to change muscle tone, move lymphatic fluids, correct movement patterns, and improve posture.

INSTRUMENT ASSISTED SOFT TISSUE MOBILIZATION (IASTM)

Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, sometimes known as Graston technique®, is a specialized myofascial release and massage technique used during physical therapy treatments. It is a relatively newer treatment that involves using metal or plastic tools to improve soft tissue mobility in your body.

ELECTRICAL STIMULATION AND ULTRASOUND THERAPY

Electrical stimulation can be utilized as a strength training tool for athletes or as a rehabilitation and preventive tool for immobilized patients. It can also be used as a post-exercise recovery tool. Therapeutic ultrasound can be used to provide deep heating to muscles, tendons, joints, and ligaments.
